Default Extreme bellied hollow ground blade

    Hello,

I have recently finished this blade for a customer and wanted to share some photos of it. At the moment it is the thinnest blade I have ever ground. And I dont think I will ever make a thinner blade because the edge would just fall apart ;-)
It´s a bellied full hollow with the belly being 0,4mm thick and the thinnest part being only aprox. 0,04mm thick. These measures are calculated from a very enlarged photo because measuring is difficult at such sizes.

    Here are the photos:

    best regards,
    Ulrik

Wow, what a beauty... and I assume not easily done... I had seen a 'blue print' (just a wall decoration picture) you could buy with an edge like this on Etsy, and thought it was quite interesting and unique. Nice to see an actual blade with this edge to it. Very fascinating to see. Thank you for sharing.

P.s. Don't drop that beauty on its toe.
