I'm partial to Case knives because of my Dad, but that Suredge is a piece of work as well. The gold leaf looks great with the dimpled tang and those scales.
Could wear from the scales be an issue on the gold leaf if this were a daily user?

Thanks! I wasn't sure about the gold leaf at first ( as originally the tang was 'blacked') but after putting the razor together I ended up really liking the effect.

Thanks...I pinned the razor with spacers so the tang does not rub against the scales. Also...I let the gold leaf 'cure' for several days to make sure it had hardened properly.

Thanks BeJay...They really are great shavers. Case steel was some of the best back in the day. I've restored several and every single one took an outstanding edge.
