7/8 razor in parqueted damascus with embedded logo
Fresh from the bench. A 7/8 razor in parqueted Damascus. The Damascus steel was made by Ed Schempp. It has my logo embedded as mosaic Damascus inside the body of the razor. So the logo goes through the blade from one side to the other. The scales are blue glow in the dark kirinite. The wedge is Old denim kirinite.
That bright strip near the edge is the strip that was protected from the etchant. If you look closely, you can see that thin black line at the very edge. That is the actual bevel.
Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Stunningly beautiful effect from the Damascus and the lined edge effect is very powerful. I'll bet the blade displays well through the scales when closed, too. Thanks for sharing.
