8/8" custom straight razor with barber's notch
Hi all,
I have just finished this straight razor for a customer. This is the first time I create barber's notch and near wedge blade. The ginding was made on a 12" contact wheel.
I hope you will like it.
- C125SC steel hardened to HRC 61 (at the edge)
- 8/8" (26mm) wide blade
- 70mm cutting edge
- Barber's notch tip
- Near wedge grind
- Mirror polish blade, fine-satin hollow grind
- Ebony wood scales with brass wedge
- Phosphor-Bronze pivot bearing washers
- Brass wedge/spacer pin with brass washers
- Adjustable stainless steel pivot pins

Simple, elegant and beautiful. i like classic lines and razors that are not over worked or decorated. That razor goes with a tuxedo and Dunhill billiard dress pipe. James Bond would surely shave with that haha great job.

That's a beautiful razor that just screams class.
I love the barbers notch that you did and the brass wedge.
