    LOL! I know what you mean Tom...BUT STILL, whether it's money or effort, when you see pristine pieces like these it's nice to know that they are in the hands of those that are collecting and saving them for the future.

    Like most of my 'created' pairs and sets, these are no exception.
    Seems these are from a few different eras in the history of the company.
    Differences abound in them, from the flow into the shoulder, the tang stamps, tails.
    One is even a bit longer than the other, not to mention the difference between the scales in the monograms and their placement.
    Still. Not too far apart!

    Pairs such as this can be separated at a whim down the road.
    Those factory-matched pairs....Notsomuch.
