An early Wostenholm with round profile tang
From one of Sheffield's best known makers an early Wostenholm circa 1820. A smiling 6/8 near wedge blade with a decorative arris spine. The blade faces are done in a glaze finish with a crocus finished spine and tang for a nice contrast. The tang has a rounded profile rather than the usual flat with an undercut. The original scales were copied in honey horn using the original brass collars.
