Thanked: 4207An Irish pair
This kit comprises my Irish straight razor collection.
The Bell, from Belfast was my first restoration attempt from a blade only as received condition back when I started into this hobby. The scales are blackthorn, imported from Ireland sanded to age them.
The Ireland, from Dublin is my most recent restoration in a set of bone on G10 scales made by fellow member rezdog.
The razor case, also crafted by our man Rez above was my winnings in this years Movember raffle thread.
That thread raised a handsome donation for men’s health research collectively from 100% bid donations in raffle style auctions of shave and other cool manly items that the members on here donated.
If you missed it, keep an eye out in October for information in the Forum. Some amazing hand crafted shave items, as well as hand forged, turned, and stitched items will be available.
Anyway, just one pic, as both of these razors were captured in their own respective threads as they were restored.
Cheers

Very nice my friend, very nice indeed~
And two old Irish razors deserve an old Irish tune.

Thanked: 4207Thanks Mark.
What are the chances of two guys making scales years apart, 1000’s of miles away from each other using the same symbol on a set of scales?
Well I’m happy to have the results for sure.
Unrelated story. Seems I shouldn’t shave in the morning. Got to work with my right collar on my white dress shirt covered in blood.. smallest nick went unnoticed when I left this am..
