Another beauty Karl! I'm just finishing up an Elliot 'Silver Steel' from the same era. It is a very unusual shape with a thumb notch, and jimps top and bottom. I'll post a pic up when it's done.

    Once again really nice blade!

Nice work Karl, I bet it is even nicer in hand.

Thanks Shaun. I really like the nice sharp jimps on this one.

Thanks Mike. Looking forward to seeing your Joseph Elliot. On a different subject there is a monument being dedicated to Viet Nam Helicopter Pilots and Crewmen at the Arlington Nation Cemetery on 18 April.

Just honing it up and pinning it today...I'll post when it's done.

I actually just heard about it the other day. Wish I could go for the ceremony.

Here are a couple pics of the Elliot Silver Steel that I just finished Karl. Finished with original polished glaze finish:

A beauty. I like the thumb notch tang shape and jimps. Hollow ground blades don't leave much metal to work with. Great job.

Thanks Karl! Original hollow grind I believe...and you're right about not having much metal to work with.
