Thanked: 89Wade & Butcher Restore
Just finished this one up. Its a shade over 13/16 near wedge. It cleaned up well and took a nice edge. This was my first time honing a true wedge. The bevel setting took some time, but I think I got off lucky compared to some horror stories I've read about wedges and funky geometry.
I used a faux ivory for the wedge. I need to bone-up on making lead wedges and give that a go one of these days. The scales are black horn with AJ's replica dome washers to complete the look. Enjoy the pics.

Looking at the before photo; I am impressed by the way you managed to get that horrible "Devil Spit" off of the razor and get a smooth solid bevel on it. Very well done!

Thanked: 89Thanks! It shave's (and exfoliates) great, which I was concerned about since I am not experienced at honing wedges. I just got lucky on this one!
