    Default Wade & Butcher 9/8

I've been working on this one for the past few days, I tried this in a few mock set ups including a blonde horn which just didn't float my boat, so I ordered some black horn more in keeping with it's original look, the original set were starting to delaminate plus there were two cracks on both sides of the pivots, so off they came, went with a blood red acrylic wedge plus these washers which I had lying around for quite some time, I can't believe how big this razor is a true monster the spine is almost 8mm thick it feels like a axe in your hand.

Thanks for sharing. You have done such a beautiful job that it looks NOS. The black horn and contrasting wedge set off the steel wonderfully.

As Val told me from the gentleman’s den, these big boys are a solid quarter stock of steel, the weight alone of these will do all the work - beautiful example and so glad I have all the rest!! ;-)

For me, one of these blades with an Escher edge it is epitome of this hobby - nothing beats that shave for me personally:-)

Great job! Beautiful razor. Guess I'll stop looking for one of my own if Phrank has the rest.

What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one
