Default Extra long Turkish Twist damascus

Another one finished. This is a long one. 3 1/4". The steel is Ed Schempp Turkish Twist damascus. The scales are dark blue acrylic. Personally, I think this blade is too long. I think 2 3/4" is the ideal length for a razor, but the customer is king

I do like the long tang and tail since I have very large hands, but I prefer shorter blades. Nonetheless, it's a gorgeous razor, and I love the dark blue scales with the grey color of the blade.

Like a long-tall drink of water. A beauty! Watch the ears!

That is one of my favorites, nice work. Might have to look into getting one of your blades sometime in the future!

I've never gone that long, but I do like em a little longer than the standard. I think it looks quite nice at that length. Kind of reminds me of gymnasts talking. The tall people were always complaining that the tricks were so much easier for the short people, but the short people said that everything looked so much better when the tall people did it.

I have a couple of Jerry Stark razors with 3" blades and long tails. I have to be cognizant of the extra 1/4" compared to my other razors to prevent nicking my ears. I cannot imagine what I would do with a 3 1/4" blade.
