Hybrid damascus and wootz razor with inlaid emeralds
This one has been in the making for half a year. The steel is a hybrid, with a piece of Alfred Pendray wootz butt welded to a damascus body that I made from 1095 and 15N20. The damascus was a low layer count billet that was split, one part twisted counterclock wise, the other clockwise. Then they were combined again and twisted again.
2 natural emeralds are inlaid in the tang of the razor, and the scales are kirinite purple haze with a green kirinite wedge that is close to the color of the emeralds.
