Thanks for the info. I too was wondering what you used to connect the pieces.
I have to rebuild my whole shop, absolutely everything all gone except I still have my blades... and so I'm compiling a list of tools and materials.
So having good tips like this will allow me to get the right supplies first.

Great save on the scales, Karl. I'm always in favor of preserving the original scales. I use T-88 structural epoxy, and it will take hair dye, no problem.

Holy moly! I have an image of a flash bang grenade and you diving for cover.. I'll have to look for other products. Have had success with CA, but there seem to be better ones..
