    Thanks for the info. I too was wondering what you used to connect the pieces.

    I have to rebuild my whole shop, absolutely everything all gone except I still have my blades... and so I'm compiling a list of tools and materials.
    So having good tips like this will allow me to get the right supplies first.

    Makes sense the CA would react like that, as moisture will cause reaction.. it was liquid pigment right?

    Great save on the scales, Karl. I'm always in favor of preserving the original scales. I use T-88 structural epoxy, and it will take hair dye, no problem.

    No, it was a dry powder pigment. Reminded me why we should use eye protection when my eyes welled up!

    Holy moly! I have an image of a flash bang grenade and you diving for cover.. I'll have to look for other products. Have had success with CA, but there seem to be better ones..

    Dang it Mike! Now I've got two products to think about, and you know how I over-complicate things.. . T-88???
