Yeah....I actually own the green and white travel razors on that board pictured.
They are perfect.
Imagine the display that had the big ones on it!
I know that Smoky Mountain Knife Works had an awesome Herder display.
Perhaps they are selling some off.
Anyway, the others are likely from boxes and boxes.
Everyone buy them so I will stop!

Beautiful work on that Herder, Tom! I have seen the extensive Herder collection at SMKW in Sevierville, TN (Dolly's home town, by the way). It is quite impressive. They also bill themselves as the world's largest knife store, and I believe it!
The last time I was up there several years ago, they also had dozens of vintage razors for sale from an estate in their antique/military surplus section. $25 each, or 5 for a hundred, including some nice Sheffield choppers in excellent shape (WB's, Greaves, etc.). I practically stole half a dozen of them before they realized what they had!
Great work lately-it's nice that you're taking advantage of some enforced down time. Time really is our greatest gift, isn't it? Be well-Aaron/SHD

Thanked: 292I razors could talk, I suspect a lot fo them would have fascinating stories to tell. The story of this one was certainly interesting. Great job with restoration.

I keep looking at that blade. Saved the pic on my phone... that's when you you know you've got a problem.
