yeah, Somethin like that....though I did enough sanding, that it could be considered, a light regrind. The main thing was putting staggered pieces of tape on the spine to compensate for the hone wear. I only needed three piece's. A 1/2" piece at the toe, another over the toe to mid blade, then a piece from toe to heal. Then trim the excess tape from the sides of the blade, to just under the original line of the spine. Presto.!! Perfect little bevels.

    I bet you do.

The one I did for MrZ was unbelievable. .020 difference from heal to toe. Had a big wide bevel, at the toe.

I spent several hours hand sanding, finishing the blade with 600 grit, W/D paper and buffing the spine and tang with Emory, leaving some pitting which resides mainly on the tang.

The scales were flattened with a clothes iron, sanded and steel wooled after a small delamination repair was made with CA, near the wedge. Soaked in Neats foot oil for about a week, then buffed with Flitz. Odd...one is black horn, other is brown with streaks.

Pinned with original wedge, brass pins, and some bronze collars sent to me by Sharpton.
