    Default Galatea

Wanted to post this Galatea I did scales for a while back, one of my favorite razors.

Koa wood with a thin G10 liner, silver hardware with a CA finish.

Original scales were plain black plastic

The wood looks incredibly thin. Beautiful!

Beautiful, Alfredo. Every time I see a razor dressed up in your beautiful scales I have the impulse to send all my razors to you to be redone.

Nice, first Galatea I have seen. Must have been a popular blank in Spain.

Actually not too popular from what I gather.

I have a friend in Spain who found three and bought them all, he said they were in a box that used to contain ten of them.

I know the wherebouts of all ten.

    I have one
My friend in Spain has the second
    Royce has the third
And the last seven are part of a seven day set.

They are the same style as most 14s, great steel, takes and holds an edge.

I only have the one Palmera 14, and yes they do shave well.
