Thread: TI Recreation

This was a rare project

I had a request from a friend to recreate a razor that had been stolen from him

It was a TI Dreadnought but in the Red Birch Burl scales that TI no longer makes

So he ordered just a blade and sent me a Block on the closest Stabilized Birch Burl we could find

From Block of Wood to a recreated razor honed to a final finish on a Nakayama with a Kita Nagura

ps: Not sure what people mean by "Stabilized" any longer but this wood needed a CA finish to get it right in the end..
