    That looks great. That ultra sonic is the bees knees for cleaning those scales.

    Doc, nice work. What soap are you using? I have had good luck on molded scales with Simple Green 50% water in a zip lock bag.

    Nice re-tip.

    I picked up a nice “Craftsman” etched blade yesterday, just starting to kick off, cell rot was really a problem with the Craftsman razors, so few survive.

    It will come apart today, blade should clean up. Will probably rescale in horn, though I did see a nice pair of molded scales the other day in an Antique store, similar to yours. I may go back for them.

    It was just Dawn dish soap in warm water, ran the US cleaner for about 30 minutes
