Default The coveted Wade & Butcher FBU

The much coveted Wade & Butcher 'For Barbers Use'. This example is a 9/8 near wedge restored to its original glazed finished blade faces and crocus finished spine and tang. The original scales were straightened, cracks repaired and re-dyed black. The original large brass beehive collars and lead wedge were retained. The scary pitting on the back face and spine cleaned up nicely. This razor had seen little use with almost no hone wear. A beautiful thin and even bevel. Just a wonderful old razor.

    Wonderful indeed Karl!!
Man, I really have a soft spot for the old Wade and Butcher's especially the FBU's.
Just shaved with one of mine today.
