Thanked: 35Yes, the shave with the first blade was incredible. I assume the second will be just as fine. The blades are a joy to hold, albeit quite small. The box, while I am unsure is original, is quite old. Probbalt walnut on the sides. I restored it by removing the leather, then sanding all wood surfaces to 12,000 grit with micromesh. Rejuvenated with wood wax. Sprayed with Deft satin clear then leveled with steel wool for satin finish. Original steel screw. Karl did an amazing job!

A great job there, I'm currently doing a twin/traveler set for myself I'm hoping to remove the ivory scales and reuse them, if I can get them off without breaking them
