I have shaved with razor for years. For my personal use I usually have pieces of my manufacture. Currently I use a stainless steel with a French tip and a slight smile, also a straight razor old style of 90mm edge in 1095 steel. Before I tried many razors, but as I gained more experience and using inspection tools, I only tried those that can raise any questions. But it is very rare, currently the pieces in new steels I prefer to keep, like the one I showed in cronidur 30 steel, so I can test them for a long time.
