6/8 classic design
Most of my stuff is pretty out there, but from time to time I feel I need to make something classic. This is a 6/8 smiling razor with a monkey tail. No frills, just a nice shaver. The scales are juma dragon.
The damascus is something I cooked up during the meet in charlie's workshop.
Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Thanked: 4826The contrast on this damascus is pretty defined, dark grey and brite metal. It makes the razor pretty striking. I do like simple designed razors.

Very nice my friend, very nice indeed.
I take it this isn't from the blank that you turned the wrong way at Charlie's? I was just wondering as sometimes mistakes can come out wondrously. Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Nicely done, Bruno. While your "out there" designs are fun, I personally prefer the classical ones. I have very large hands which fit nicely on razors with a monkey tail, and at my age, a little smile helps with all the nooks and crannies. I do like the damascus pattern which provides a combination of "out there" with a classical look.
