Classic design in logo damascus
A razor in a classic design, letting the damascus do all the talking. The steel was custom made for me by Ed Schempp, It's complex parqueted damascus with my logo embedded as mosaic in the damascus itself. The scales are green Juma snake because I like to have some color on a damascus razor.

Well, usually I simply use a chisel and hammer to cut my mark into the tang after I have finished all pre-HT work.
To make this damascus, Ed made a canister, inserted shims of pure nickel to make my logo, and filled it with 1095 powder. then he drew it out until it was a long bar. Then he just made a lot of plates of complex damascus, and put the bar in there before squeezing it together one last time. And then I can cut a slice from that load of damascus, so the logo runs from one side to the other.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

That loaf of damascus was expensive enough to buy a small second hand car. And good for about a dozen razors
Bu tI do have a couple feet of leftover logo bar so I can make my own.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
