    Man, you really make these pretty fast. I think you get one built faster than I get one honed .

    In fact, making straight razors is not that fast. It can only be fast in the movies. In order for the geometry of the blade to be almost perfect, you need to try very hard so that with further sharpening of a straight razor, the desired angle is preserved, and also so that the sharpening of the blade does not cause problems in the future. To do this, you need to make the cutting edge very thin, then it takes very little time to re-sharpen the blade. My goal is to try to make a straight razor also easy to maintain this razor.

    Oh, I didn't mean it that way. I just meant that in the last week I have been trying to put a good edge on two razors and you have posted two brand new ones in that time. Comparing to my time was a joke, but I am still impressed with how fast you crank out new razors.
