    Oh no, that definitely affected the thickness and more full hollow grinding was feasible because of the hexe machine which, by the way means witch in German. There were some but nowhere near as many or as hollow as after the hexe came into use.

    I've actually been meaning to try and make one. I don't have room enough in my shop, which is my garage presently.

    I think the most complicated part of the design would be how you move one wheel closer to the other whilst in operation, especially if you want to drive both wheels from one motor.
