David Miller / 16 Fairgate
I took this old David Miller razor and gave it a make over.
The blade had a funny grind which made the work interesting but i managed to get a nice bevel .
The scales were stripped back and left in neat's-foot for a while then one section was stabilized with some rod. I wanted to try something different with the faux tortoise dyeing so i started with an orange and then added red brown and dark brown. The end result is not too bad.
The wedge speaks for itself.
The edge off a full Nagura progression was exceptional. Very soft and comfortable.
Cheers

Thanks Tath and everyone, this one does have some grind marks.
The video makes it look a lot worse than it is and the scales won't photo at all.
The best thing about this razor is the soft edge it gave. That makes it a special one.
