Charles Pitts
This razor came with scales showing the name James Tidmarsh and bearing the Cannon / Defiance logo known to me from Abram Brooksbank .
The scales were therefore a later addition and the Logo came originally and slightly different from Charles Pitts.
Charles & John Pitts were brother and the sons of John Pitts.
The razor dates sometime around 1845.
Fittingly this razor had many pits. I removed quite a bit but was mainly focused on having a nice bevel and not pit removal.
The scales were taken from my box of extras and a crack was fixed. The blade I gave a mirror finish. The shave was not bad but I will re visit this one next week hoping for an improvement.
There is a lack of final photos but my latest shave video shows the razor close up.
Many Thanks
Joseph

Another great save Joseph. Good stuff. Watched your video, what was the second razor you used after the Charles Pitts?
