    I agree, a satin blade finish is very nice.

    A number of years ago one of our guys, Joe Chandler, told me that how he made a satin finish was to go up to 2,000 grit then go back down to a 1,000 grit.

    Thanks for that. I’ve been searching the restore threads for how to get a satin finish and you just saved me hours of reading.
