Challenge by name and nature!! This one took quite a bit of elbow grease and head scratching. Blade was a bit of a mess and scales had seen better days. A lot of blemishes and pitting on blade. Lots of hand sanding here. Tang, tail and spine were polished but left the blade face a satin finish to cover some pitting that was too deep to try remove. My satin finishing is slowly improving, but still a ways to go and always learning. Scales came off a trashed razor. They were way too long so had to shorten them and drill new holes for repositioned wedge. Then reprofile scales ends around the wedge.
