    Default Stenton in picbone

Started this a couple of years ago. Big heavy blade with a decrepit Masonic etch and lots of pitting.
Scales are made by Rezdog and I think his first set of picbone. Collars are the solid brass bigs and littles from Sorin.
Hand-sanded on and off and finished a while back.
Just had the time to get it through the stones. Very happy with how it turned-out, esp the bevel.
Pics are not so good. Best I could come up with. Thanks, Shaun! Scales are the best part!

Looks great. A monster of a blade. Love the look of those scales, Shaun.

Great job Tom. A lovely big razor and Rez has nailed it with the scales.

I watched Shaun do a demo on his pickbone scales at a Texas meet.

One of the biggest points I took away was that it is hard to do a pattern that isn't a pattern.

I hope that makes sense. LOL

Boy, that turned out nice especially with those scales by Shaun. Love that smile on the blade too.

True! Was present for that. Pretty wild!
I think the playing of 'Flight of the Bumblebee' would accompany that!
