John Heiffor, World's Columbian Exposition, Chicago, 1893
John Heiffor, one of many cutlers to market razors commemorating the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. This razor was disassembled and the blade hand sanded, hand polished. The original scales were washed, sanded, flattened and rehydrated then repinned with collarless brass pins and original lead wedge.

Thanked: 43Looks great Paul!!
Its funny, not all the razors for that expo have the same image on the blade. Some have different buildings or view from the same grounds.
How did it shave for you? They seem to be of decent steel!

Just honed it up. I'll let you know tomorrow. It has a nice ring though so I'm optimistic.

Great shave as you would expect from a singing blade.
