    Default My First Restoration

    Okay, all I did was clean these razors up a bit but they do look alot better than they did when I found them. Maybe this is old news but I thought the polishing went very smoothly(pun intended) and I thought I'd share what I discovered. I used a leather silversmith's sandbag to stabilize and protect the blade as I sanded:



    To polish I used Micro Mesh abrasive cloths. This package comes with 3000 thru 12000 grit. I have been using the same kit for years for wood metal and stone:
