I was the fortunate member to purchase this str8. This was my first purchase from Gary.
I was extremely impressed by the quality of the work on the blade as well as the scales. However, this morning, came the real joy. I stropped up the blade on canvas then leather and was off to the shower. After lathering up with some wonderful Momma Bear's Rosemary and Mint, I began the shave. The blade sliced through my beard like butter. This was one of my best shaves, easily providing a BBS shave.
I can highly recommend Gary's razors to anyone comtemplating a razor. In addition, while the price may seem a little high for a beginner, here are some considerations: you are getting a quality razor that has a money back gaurantee and Gary will rehone the razor anytime you wish for the cost of the postage. Since honing can be a big learning curve for beginners, this could ease the path to becoming a str8 shaver.
I'll definitely be looking for another razor from Gary in the future. This Joseph Rodgers is superb!
Thanks Gary!!!

You shave in the shower??? That razor-sharp blade will cut other things easier than your whiskers, if you know what I mean.
Unless you're more fortunate than me in that department, I can't afford even a sliver, you might be singing soprano!!
