    Default W&B New Scales-Thank you RMC_SS_LDO

Member RMC_SS_LDO did a wonderful job making a new set of scales for my Wade & Butcher. They are his one piece design made of Brazilian cherry with a brass pin. I love it! Thank you so much for your work. My poor pictures do not do justice!

    Thumbs up

Real nice! I like the one piece look on that blade, what type of finish is on them? Have you tried it out yet?

I did some leg shaving with it last night and it was extremely sharp and smooth. I have to give thanks to Kenrup for that!!! It also felt great in my hand!

You can look forward to a long future of awsome shaves with this blade. I owned precisely the same model once and it gave me nothing but top performance. Nice scales too.

    Viola,

Glad you like it! Thanks for posting up pics; in my haste to ship it to you, I neglected to take any pics!

The finish is a buffed CA. I know you had discussed a little darker finished color, but I just couldn't put stain on those! If it is not readily apparent in the pics, they came out a nice warm, honey color.

I'm glad she shaves well. With a Bow from Kenrup, I had to assume it would be an excellent shaver.

I am so thrilled with the light color and I'm very glad you didn't put a dark stain on them. Thanks again, Allen. It's been a wonderful experience thus far.

Nice razor Viola. Sharp & Smooth is what it's all about.

My girl's legs comes up in bumps with those nasty disposables.
Maybe she needs a W&B Bow but she's a bit scared of Str8s

    Very nice!

A question for RMC: Are those scales one piece or are they glued at the point end?

They are one piece. Most of the scales I have done are different, less "traditional" shapes, but Viola wanted the more traditional "bananna" style.
