Default Wade & Butcher with an unknown wood

This wood is very special. Unfortunately i dont know, what it is. If some one can help me with this information, it would be great.
The wood has an wonderfull grain but isnīt very hard. Some parts really soft, others a little bit harder. It is very light and break very easy. So I must use first time a brass liner. Several coats of CA protect the wood against water and give them additional stability. The blade is a Wade & Butcher 6/8 hollow ground. The spacer is from brass and vulcanfibre.

No, its not Amboynia. I have her some nice pieces of amboynia. Its much more harder and heavier, than this wood.
