    A quick hit with a dremel then hand sanding; the 1st 4 hours or so at 60 grit, then up from there.

    That means a lot. Your work is an inspiration to me. I got the shape of your scales in my head, but I didn't want to copy you, so I made a somewhat similar design in photoshop.

    And thanks to ya'll for the compliments. I don't have any prior experience with wood or metal work, but after all that I've learned here I've made something that I'm proud of.

    But I´m very happy to see, thats with the informations thats are exist, here and in other forums, it is possible for a beginner to make such a stunning work. If you could see my first try on scales some years ago...
