Joseph Rodgers 8/8 In Ambonya Burl & BR Cherry
This was my 4th resto, and I'm happy with the results. After realizing how must fun these projects are, I intentionally found a really messed up blade so that'd I'd have many, many hours of work to do
I know that most restorations start out with an abused blade, and while we've all seen it before, this one was in pretty bad shape (hence the before pics).
The scales are Ambonya Burl and Brazilian Cherry, and a little black plastic.. The cherry got a light ebony stain. The spacer and pins are brass, and the liners and 3rd pin spacer are aluminum.
The last pic is from the 1st test shave. It has since been back to the hones and shaves great.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
