Default Gong razor with Black Walnut

This is a 7/8 round point Gong Razor #2633
There is still some tarnish and pitting on the top half of the blade. Most of the blade etching was covered so it ended up being sanded off. Since I didn't want to go to far I left the rest.
The scales are made from black walnut although it doesn't really look like walnut. I took a piece off a downed branch that had been sitting out in the desert for a couple years. It could almost have been spalted but not quite. Some parts of that piece were very soft and others were hard.
I still have some polishing to do on the blade and when I get some new pins and washers I am going to remove the escutcheon pins and steel washer
    Hope you like it

    Thanks for the comments.
What I did forget is the spacer is mesquite and the finish is Arrow wood finish.
Another member posted here awhile ago about it and I decided to try it out. Although not quite as easy as it says it still is a very easy to use finish. I'm putting a couple more coats on and buffing it out to bring out the shine. We'll see how it looks after that.
