A dozen 8/8 Friodur
It has been a busy few weeks. I finished the last of these Friodur’s last night. They all got a sanding and polish. While not a mirror finish, they are darn shiny and most all the factory grind marks are sanded out. These big 8/8 stainless blades are a bare to sand.
A variety of woods were used to scale them, Bacote, Bloodwood, Lacewood, and one of my new favorites, figured red bees-wing Narra. All have a high gloss epoxy resin finish and use a variety of wedge materials. All have a third pin spacer for the fat 8/8 blade. You know you have a special razor when you pick it up, these babies have some heft and are among my favorite shavers.
And to answer your question, yes, they are for sale. However, you will need to go to shavingshop.com to get them. They are not owned by me, but at least I get to hold them all in my little hand, barely.

Thanks, that is just the tip of the iceberg, more coming. I am finally all caught up on orders so what do I do, make 6 more sets of scales and start sanding and polishing 3 razors from my personal project cigar box. I enjoy the work, beats sitting in front of the TV and it keeps me in cigars and coffee.
