Wade & Butcher Rescue
I restored this Wade & Butcher shoulderless razor for a member. It was in poor shape. Some bugs must have had a party on these scales as they were very chewed up. After several layers of slow epoxy, the scales shaped up nicely. I did have to soak the scales in Neats foot Oil for almost two weeks to get the fiber to fill out and get them flexible again. I love these blond horn scales. When they are in good shape, they are almost translucent. I was able to salvage and reuse the original pin collars. The blade honed up nicely too.
