Default first razor resto update #1 (re-routed)

First of all, I apologize for posting this in the wrong place previously (guess I shoulda listened to mom: "Read first!"). Anyways, I removed the scales and sanded blade down (starting w/ 60 progressing up to 600 grit). This was a lot of work but quite enjoyable. It is my grandpa's old razor I thought I would restore. If too many pix, I apologize before hand.

    Congrats on your first !

It can be addictive ya know ?

Really like the silver work on the scales but looks like a part is missing. Hope you still have it or maybe a jeweller could recreate it for you.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
