Talking 2 cleaned up- not like new, but rare blades!

Here are two of mine that I cleaned up. First is a Case Brothers, Springville NY Draw Cut razor. I got this in a trade from another member for a bunch of stuff. Always wanted one. The scales are warped, but so is the razor itself, so it actually ends up closing relatively centered! The blade has a bunch of micro pitting but I don't mind.

Second is my Boker, I think 1056 blade. The scales are decorated with checkering and vines. Ivory covered tang, worked spine. Again, lots of micro pitting, but the blade is too thin for me to try to get it out when I can just live with it. Both of these are in original scales/pins. I think they are pretty cool!

That Case is the definition of a smiling blade if there ever was one! Very cool, very cool.

I have seen a few Geneva razors with that much curvature on the bay, but I always get outbid.

That Boker sure is nice too, in some cases, I think the pitting gives em character anyhow, kinda like a patina.

    Both are stunning razors.
I like the striped pattern on the case's tang and scales. Beautiful.

Scales and tang are original yes. This blade I didn't get on eBay. It is VERY rare and I actually got it through a trade with another member here. Good luck finding one! They won't be cheap if you can find one on eBay. I think I saw one in the past year.

Here is another Springville I recently got from a collector. It has genuine tortoise scales. It is a bit over 4/8 and took awhile to hone to shave ready. Good shave though. The pics are the sellers. His are way better then mine would be.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
