    Default W&B w/River oak

Since I haven't posted much here recently, I thought I'd throw a few restos up. This is a Wade & Butcher Special. It wasn't in bad shape, just buffed it and honed. Scales are River oak, brass pins, washers and bearings. Red and black micarta spacer.

    Very nice
one question, is the large curve at the heel of the blade from the mfg or is that to fix a broken blade ?

    either way it looks good

I think it was a re-grind. I do have another of the same kind and it's blade is full. This one has a cutting edge of 2 3/8". Works well in the tight spots.

Nice looking blade and scales. That sweep on the blade edge may be a regrind of a damaged blade but it looks rather sexy.
