    Default White Diamond 5/8 w/Bone (I think)

Some before, during & after pics of my White Diamond.
This was a nice easy job as it wasn't in too bad shape to start.
Its a German hollow ground blade for EDW Smith Boston Mass. & is a great shaver.
Smooth, close & quiet. Haven't heard of these before but I'd buy another.

I think the scales are bone as it doesn't look like the ivory I've seen but that's not much to go on.
Soaked the scales in Neatsfoot oil for 10 days after sanding up to 3000 grit. Pinned up with no cracks
    so it's all good.

Any opinions on the scale material, I'd be grateful.

    Thanx Glen. Much appreciated.

    Satisfying indeed.

Not to hijack my own thread but I think H.P.Lovecraft wrote about the "Old Ones"
Glad this resto wasn't a horror story. A slip with the buff can do it
