Thanks Russ. The end is really small. The first time I clamped it too tight forcing the core into the horn "fuchi" completely compressing it closed.
I may try making a scabbard for the razor, or i may use the tsuka as a knife handle

Your handle rocks! Beats the heck out of the usual blue rubber handle, that's or sure.
