    Default W Greaves&Sons 7/8 1815/26 Custom purple tiger scales

W Greaves Sons Cast steel 7/8 quarter hollow. This is a very old 1815/26 razor, with the old style tang,it is cast steel.Ifinished this one up a couple weeks ago,and have been shaving with it .It is a great shaver, and holds the edge really well.I finished this in an "as ground" type finish, but a little more shiny,I really dont like a mirror finish on this type razor.I have the original coffin box,and buffalo horn scales(they are also in excellent condition).I really enjoy shaving with these oldtimers
    Best Regards Gary

Would you mind telling a little about the purple tiger material, and that beautiful pin work?
