Eric Anton Berg 13/16 hollow
This is an eBay resto that I was planning to sell on but after shaving with it ..... I think it's a keeper.
No before pics but a couple of early progress shots first up.
Done as a satin finish but tang, tail & top of spine were finished with coarser grit compound than blade body. A few grind marks & small pits remain & the makers stamps are faded but I can live with that..
Polished up the bakelite scales and repaired a hairline crack at the wedge end of one scale (2nd last pic). It's not invisible but survived the pinning so should hold ok.
I hate how fragile these old plastics are
Might re-scale it one day but all good for now.Last edited by onimaru55; 10-13-2008 at 08:19 AM.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

I really like the pinning. Looks...oldschool?
