    Default my latest attempt

3 razors from the shop. Left is a Diamond spear, center is a Robert Klaas, right is a boker

Diamond spear is spalted Osage, Robert Klaas is in Kingwood and the boker is Tulipwood.

Thanks for looking, and I definately need feedback from the masters.

It's hard to tell from the pics , are these all one piece scales????
    They look great !!!!!!
Finally see another Diamond Spear razor out there,
These are absolutely fantastic shavers, but this is only the second one I have seen, other than the one I have...
Would love to hear what you think of that one in perticular...

Yes, They are all one piece scales. The Diamond Spear shves very nice. I had it in another set of scales but did not like them. I believe it was you who told me awhile back that the diamond spear is equivilant to a DD (poor mans DD). Our secret though. I will try to post better pictures here shortly. My photo skills stink.

Love that spalted osage orange & the 'organic' scale shape.
Neat bowls too. Did you turn them ?

Hope these are better pics. I need to research the older posts and look for the photo tips.

The Boker blade was so unique (to me) that I didn't sand to much just polished.

The Diamond spear required quite a bit of sanding before poishing

The Robert Klaas was a very dull and grey, but no big staining. Polished up nice.

    Respect to multi skills

Now I'm wishing I had a lathe... and a set of instructions

Made my brushes out of an old chair leg

I can do that. I read up on pic taking and will try to post something better in the next day or so. Good question though, finish is one thing but how is the fit? I hope it passes. Should I post a pic 1/4" above closing or at full close?

BTW, This is the first time I used Microfastener nut/bolt. It s a lot simpler, but I'm not sure if I like the overall finish. The jury is still out.

i think these look great. not big on the lightening bolt, but that is not to say it is not cool. just not my cup.

the bowls are terrific, as well as the brushes.

great job and i am jealous on the onepiece scales.

on the microfasteners, i think i go back and forth on them. some razors i like them with, and some not. if i am selling, then no micros because i only have the one set of wrenches. but they have their pluses and minuses.
