W&B in Cocobolo
here is my latest pain. i learn as much as i seem to fail. this was a W&B that i had for a while but did not touch. finally i got a great cocobolo blank and here we go. i tried for thinner scales on this one, something similar to what the original sales were in thickness. this was a great project, however i still need to hone and test shave. comments welcome.

I like the wedge. Di you have issues with blade strike?

Nice! Cocobolo is hard to deal with at times (hard and oily) I like the thin look with the brass inner liner. Agreed on the wedge, what did you use? Nice blade as well, I continue to note scales and miss out on the blade at times.

the spacer is hard ABS plastic. have them on a few of my personal razors and no issues. and looks great against the brass. note the brass is only lining the spacer, not the entire scale.
i was having issues with the blade rubbing the scale on one side, hence the double washer in the pivot. the scales are so thin that the blade just moved them all over the place. when i had them pinned with micros, the alignment was on the money, but with the pins, i just need to tweak a little more to get them in line.
thank you for the words. i love this blade and i did not really get good photos of it. i really spent more time on the wood and so that is where my pics are at.

Certainly achieved slim looking scales. I like them and the double washer solution at the pivot.
