Default Henckels 8/8 in figured red Nara

This is a 8/8 diamond spine Henckels that I sanded and polished then mounted in a set of figured red Nara scales. The figuring in this wood is super and difficult to catch in a photo. The figuring rolls in the light as you move the razor and its irradiance is lost in the photo. The pins are made from 1/16 inch brass rod stock with a stainless washer with a brass washer over it. These blades are so thick you have to use a third spacer pin which I make from the same stock but only use one small brass washer so it does not affect the flow of the wood. I used a figured walnut wedge and the scales are finished in epoxy resin.
